Adult Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation, which completes Baptism, is one of the Sacraments of Initiation, and it should be received by every Catholic Christian. Through Confirmation, Christians are bound more closely to the Church and receive special strength from the Holy Spirit for living out their discipleship of Jesus Christ.
For various reasons, many Catholics do not receive Confirmation at the usual time. Later, as adults, they desire to complete their initiation. We offer adults the opportunity to be confirmed during the Easter season, after a suitable period of prayerful preparation and catechetical instruction.
Before attending preparation sessions for Confirmation, an individual interview is required. If you have been thinking about completing your initiation with the Sacrament of Confirmation, please contact Fr. Jeff Calia, C.O. at the parish office for more information.
