Disability & Health Ministry

St. Peter’s Disability and Health Ministry seeks to address disability and health concerns in our parish through educational awareness, tangible assistance & parishioner involvement.

About Our Ministry

St. Peter’s Disability and Health Ministry has served the parishioners and community surrounding St. Peter’s Church since 2009.  The Ministry provides information, education and concrete resources to address disability and health issues and has introduced a number of successful projects including educational seminars, parish fund-raisers and resource allocation for disabled parishioners in need.

Recent projects include a Parish Health Fair, a Disability Mass and a presentation by John Crowley, whose family’s struggles with a life-threatening genetic disorder inspired the film, “Extraordinary Measures”.

The Disability and Health Ministry works closely in collaboration with other parish organizations including the Music Ministry, the Respect Life Ministry, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Altar Rosary Society and the Pastoral Council

Our Ministry is committed to being responsive to the needs of our parish.  This means being open to the suggestions and feedback of parishioners.  Please contact us through the parish office if you have a need, a question or an idea related to health or disability issues.
